INSTRUMENT ART
Selected Commissioned Works
Music has long occupied a unique place within the history of art, yet the instruments through which it is performed are seldom considered artistic objects in their own right. My instrument commissions seek to bridge this distinction, treating each commission not simply as decoration but as an original work of fine art conceived specifically for the form, character, and cultural significance of the instrument.

Drawing upon architectural history, sculpture, mythology, and symbolism, every composition is individually developed to create a coherent visual narrative. Rather than applying imagery to an existing object, the instrument itself becomes the canvas, with its proportions, contours, and craftsmanship informing the composition from the earliest stages of design.

Each work is created as a unique commission or limited collector’s edition in collaboration with specialist instrument makers and ateliers. The resulting pieces are intended equally for performance, exhibition, and private collections, reflecting a shared commitment to artistic permanence, exceptional craftsmanship, and museum-quality presentation.

Commissions
Instrument commissions are accepted on a limited basis and developed in collaboration with specialist makers and studios. Each project is individually conceived in response to the client, the instrument, and the narrative it seeks to embody.

Conatus
Origin of Commission: Private Collector
Year: 2025
Medium: Digital fine art composition on electric guitar
Inspired by the haunting visual language of Zdzisław Beksiński, Conatus explores the psychological landscape of human striving. Rising from an accumulation of anonymous skulls, the solitary figure embodies the enduring desire to distinguish oneself, to seek purpose, and to leave a lasting trace. Gothic forms and infernal imagery evoke an inner terrain shaped by ambition, uncertainty, and perseverance, where aspiration and suffering become inseparable. Rather than offering judgment, the work reflects upon the universal tension between the pursuit of significance and the burdens such pursuit inevitably carries.

Patientia
Origin of Commission: Studio Collection
Year: 2025
Medium: Digital fine art composition on electric guitar
Drawing upon the visual language of sacred architecture and classical allegory, Patientia reflects upon the enduring expectations historically placed upon women. A crowned figure, silenced and bound, embodies the tension between dignity and restraint, while the scales, fractured timepiece, and Gothic nave evoke judgement, societal obligation, and unwavering faith. Angelic wings emerge not as symbols of escape but of an inner purity preserved despite captivity. The work considers patientia not as passive submission but as the quiet strength required to endure.
