Varsity Ski Trip

In December 2024, I travelled to Tignes for the Oxford and Cambridge Varsity Ski Trip. Although my health meant I could not ski, I still wanted to be in the Alps in winter. I love snow, the atmosphere it creates, the light it reflects, and the quiet it brings to a place. I brought my skates in the hope of skating on a frozen lake, but it was not frozen enough while I was there for me to do so. It is a dream I will have to return for another time.
